I'm talking about here as in Religion and Spirituality section?
I see hundreds of Christians who sit here all day and answer the questions of Atheists. Is that because thats all they teach in Christian schools, or is it because they lack the faith so they come here to boost their self esteem?
How about answering questions in other sections? What? you telling me Christian Schools dont teach anything else?
Inlighten me.First, you could spell "enlighten" correctly.
Second, these people NEED us. They have all these crazy ideas about God and we have to tell the the TRUTH. God loves everyone and I just want everyone to accept such a wonderful love!You have to be kidding.Can you read??? It says religion section.Christians probably do answer questions in other sections, it just isn't evident by answers. How would you know if a maths answer was given by a christian or a non-christian? or a physics answer?"Inlighten" you?
What a leap of faith to assume that people answering questions in the other sections are not Christians.
"Enlighten" your self and try and picture, maybe you should visit some of the other sections, and then your 'enlightenment' would be complete. If you are upset that Christians are on the R+S section, maybe the reason you myopically assume that is all they do is a result of, that is all you do?
Think, please think.How is this not our section? Enlighten me!!! ANd we dont sit here all day every day, at least I dont and as far as my self esteem, I have plenty.

some catholic schools do this at recess, they have PC's and all the kids go log on at breaks. Its called apologetics.I never went to Christian school... so i don't know what they teach....
i can Enlighten you though on some things.... (what school teaches INLIGHTENING?) there are people who DO go to other sections and answer questions.... and no matter what, i don't lack self esteem nor faith... just the opposite... because i have not seen much that would 'boost anything' around here... much the opposite... people here tear one another down it seems.
maybe people want to IN-Lighten your life by showing you true Light, in the form of Jesus ChristAre you really that ignorant or just very young? Either way, you're hate speaks volumes. I suggest you adopt a live and let live attitude towards life. You'll be much happier than you currently are right now.

Personally I go into other sections occasionally. I go into photography quite often since it is a hobby of mine, and I used to be a paramedic so I occasionally hit the medical sections, but mostly I come here. As one person said here a few days ago, "My question is not religious, but this is where all the action is."Calm down, guh. They're here because they want to discuss their religion, and they should be allowed to do so. Also, you should generalize all Christians.I think it's because they think it's their "duty" to convince us all to believe what they believe -- very annoying really.If we were to go to other sections ( and believe me, I have in the past several times to share the gospel) we get kicked out for it does not "pertain" to the topic. This is the closest topic we can get to. And we love others and care about others, that is why we are here, sharing the truth of God. It is like this---I see my neighbor's house on fire, and I want to run over there and warn them. I do not sit back or just walk away and do something else. So it is with those who do not believe in Jesus Christ. I want them to know His wonderful gospel and His great love---what He did on the cross and why everyone needs Him.Inlighten me? Christians study nothing else? You are in nead of some serious counseling my darlinga. OOOO but you are sooo cuuuuuute!ci am an atheist and i think they have as much a right to be here as anyone else besides it would be boring if we don't have challenges

My answer..... boredomAs Christians we are instructed to spread the word of God in the name of Jesus Christ.... and we do just that... maybe more vocal than others, but we have a lot of truth to spread... by doing so we are being obediant to God.
Why are non-believers so defensive when we freely speak about God... even when we are not putting you or shall I say them down?
Also, why are so many non-believers here in this spiritual section... because where the spirit is, so is God. If you were not interested I don't think you'd waste your time in this section or commenting on what us Christians have to say... just a thought!Well, why is anybody here? Because some people jsut enjoy a good theological debate. Some say that it strengthens their faith. But I have to agree with you about those who are here ALL DAY long. Some people need to just get a life.I want people to know about what has brought happiness to my life.
Well, Lately, I've been sitting here a lot because I broke my ankle. I'm kinda new to this and it's intriguing to know how others think about life and to me, religion and life are the same thing.
Why are you asking about people who ask and answer questions and answers in a answer and question site?we're here for the same reasons everyone else is-- for the exchange of ideas. So, we defend our faith, so what? Muslims defend their beliefs, atheists & agnostics & everybody else defend their beliefs. So why are we the villains? Hopefully you will learn more tolerance as you grow older. besides, this is the Religion & Spirituality section as you point out.

But to answer yours, because maybe someone might want an answer about God from someone who believes in him. : )I don't lack my faith, I learn it and then come here to answer and instruct the ignorant...like you.I think it's because Christians are taught to spread the gospel- so this is seen as a tool to spread God's message of love.
Would the Atheists ask the questions if they didn't want them answered? I mean isn't that the point of YA??Does it matter if someone is a certain religion, race, or age. We speak from our experience. They probably are interested in your question. It is hard to keep experiences we have everyday from what we think and say to others.
