When is the best time of year to plant pumpkin seeds?

  • Late in the spring, when all danger of frost is past, and the soil has warmed.

Exactly when that is very much depends on where you live.

And if you live somewhere where there IS no winter, then this advice won't even make sense. If you live someplace tropical, ask your local garden center, and they can tell you what's best in your particular area.

  • leave the seeds in the ground all year, when the soil warms up they will sprout, once 2 or 3 leaves appear transplant to the area you have prepared, also add a tspoon of milk powder to the hole, it helps against mildew
