Are ignorant poor people good for our society?

he complained about having to pay taxes for educational systems that he doesn't benefit from???
so do you want students at public high schools not graduating so they can walk around and rob you?
his argument is flawed because too many poor people will only bring a downfall. america will not hold on to its' middle class and it will be n o better then south africa...
the wealthy south africans live in cages to protect themselves from the people they kept ignorant???
I know people are selfish, but it will doom america if this happens...
education shouldn't be a privilege it should be a right.
am I wrong?
America is about opportunity, about having the chance to be someone in life and be able to succeed. How are people supposed to get out of poverty if they are not educated? He needs to get his money back from "private school" because he obviously hasn't learned shi*t.
Look at countries that dont provide free schooling, they are all living in poverty and there is no middle class, no one can succeed unless they are already at the top. Your friend is a total jacka$s. He needs to read a book, and get his head out of daddy's rich a$$.
